Police in Aurora are investigating a shooting at a crowded bar early Friday that happened after a fight escalated, leaving one person dead and two others wounded.

The shooting happened about 12:45 a.m. at the El Bronco Bar on the 9400 block of Montview Boulevard.

“It looks like it was the result of a fight,” said Lt. Chris Juul.

All three victims were transported to the hospital where one was pronounced dead. One victim was in serious condition Friday morning while the other is expected to survive, police say.

The victims haven’t been identified. Investigators say they are interviewing multiple witnesses.

“Police have no solid information at this time on the suspect and it is unclear what led up to the shooting,” according to a news release.

Police say they are looking for two men in connection with the shooting.

The Adams County Coroner will identify the victim once an autopsy is completed and next of kin has been notified.
