A slight chance of rain has moved into the Denver weather forecast on Wednesday, before a stretch of clear, sunny days.

The National Weather Service said there’s a 10 percent chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms in Denver on Wednesday.

The high is expected to climb to 70 degrees in the Mile High City. That’s about seven degrees warmer than the seasonal average for Oct. 22 in Denver. The record high for this date is 84, set in 2003.

Sunny and unseasonably warm weather moves back into the Denver weather forecast Thursday and runs through Sunday, with temperatures reaching the upper 70s to low 80s.
