Several fire stations responded to a barn blaze that gutted the structure and caused vehicles to explode early Friday morning in an Arvada.

“Some vehicles were exploding,” said Deanna Harrington, spokeswoman for the Arvada Fire Protection District. “It’s really a total loss.”

The barn fire was reported at 6:45 a.m. at 14255 W. 72nd Ave.

No animals were hurt in the fire, Harrington said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
