The Denver coroner’s office has identified the victim of a homicide on Sunday as a 44-year-old man.
Jeffery Scherff was shot at 4:27 a.m. on the 7200 block of East 36th Avenue. He was taken to Denver Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The manner of death was homicide, according to a news release by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
