Aurora firefighters rescued seven baby ducks from a storm drain at the National Corrections Academy on Tuesday morning, with city officials calling the recovery “Operation Ducky Rescue.”

The city said the rescue happened after employees at the academy noticed a mother duck acting strangely, according to a Facebook post.

“Since their timely rescue, all are doing swimmingly,” the post said.
