The Denver Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting earlier in the week.
Kenneth Banks, 20, is wanted for first-degree murder in connection with a homicide that happened Monday in the 4700 block of North Peoria Street, according to a Metro Denver Crime Stoppers bulletin.
Banks is described as six feet tall and 185 pounds. He is considered armed and dangerous.
The shooting victim, D-Andre Mayfield, was in a car near 47th Avenue and Peoria Street around 5 a.m. when he was shot.
Mayfield was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to Denver police tweet.
