Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib was released from a Dallas hospital Monday and is expected to make a full recovery after suffering a gunshot wound in his lower right leg Sunday. But he is not expected to participate much, if at all, in the remainder of the team’s organized team activities.

Details are murky on what happened early Sunday at a strip club in Dallas, where two others were injured from gunshots.

“Everything was a blur, and I was too intoxicated to remember what happened,” Talib told Dallas police, according to WFAA-TV’s Rebecca Lopez.

According to WFAA, Talib also told the police that he was at a park with a large group when he was shot at about 3:40 a.m.

Lopez reported officials are looking into the possibility that Talib was at a club and not a park, as he said, when he and the two others were shot.

Citing the police report, Lopez said a bullet entered through the rear of Talib’s right thigh and exited out his right calf.

Sunday night, Dallas police posted online the few details they had about two reported shootings. About 2:45 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting victim at Medical City Dallas Hospital. The victim told police he was shot nearby, and detectives were investigating whether the incident was connected to the shooting at the V Live strip club on Empire Central Drive.

The incident reports revealed the names of the two other men who were shot — Vernon White, 29, and Glen Lumpkin, 20 — and listed the suspect as unknown to all three men. Few other details were provided.

TMZ obtained footage of the shooting at the club. Four shots can be heard, but it’s unclear who fired them. It’s also unclear whether the events depicted in the edited video are presented in the correct order.

Talib’s injury did not require surgery, according to an NFL source, and coach Gary Kubiak and general manager John Elway have been in touch with him since the incident.

The Broncos traveled to the White House without Talib on Monday to be honored by President Barack Obama for winning Super Bowl 50. They begin their three-day mandatory minicamp Tuesday, and Talib is expected to be back with the team this week to be examined by its medical staff. He is not, however, expected to participate much, if at all, in the remainder of organized team activities, which are scheduled to end June 16.

Brian McCarthy, the NFL’s vice president of communications, said Sunday night the league had been in touch with the Broncos regarding the incident but had no further comment.
