Longmont-based DigitalGlobe released photos Monday of Malaysia Airlines flight 17’s crash site.
The images show the charred field near Hrabove, Ukraine, where the flight crashed, killing all 298 on board.
The satellite imagery company trained three of its five satellites on the crash site shortly after the July 17 crash. It took until Sunday to capture images without clouds.
DigitalGlobe sells images of natural and man-made disasters to governments and industry for emergency response.
