A man who allegedly went on a foothills crime spree, accompanied by a teenage girl, now faces an additional charge of sex trafficking a minor.

Christopher David Sullivan, 37, is being held at the Jefferson County Jail on a $500,000 bond.

Sullivan faces 46 criminal counts related to a July 23 foothills crime spree in which he allegedly stole multiple vehicles, and broke into a least one home, while leading authorities in pursuit. At one point, Sullivan allegedly was armed with a handgun in one hand, and a rifle in the other, trying to stop a vehicle on a Jefferson County highway to carjack it.

On Tuesday Sullivan was charged with human trafficking of a minor for sexual servitude, according to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office.

“Sullivan is alleged to have been in Albuquerque (N.M.) on July 21 when he solicited a 17-year-old female for sexual purposes,” according to a DA’s office media release.

He allegedly took the girl to Colorado the next day, “harboring, transporting and making available for sex an underage female,” prosecutors said.

The sex trafficing of a minor case is filed separately from the other multiple criminal counts, the DA’s office said.

His next court appearance is scheduled Thursday.
