Surveillance photographs of a man who robbed a bank in Aurora were released Wednesday by police.

The robbery happened at about 12:35 p.m. Monday at the TCF Bank, 15350 E. 6th Ave., according to the Aurora Police Department.

The man in the photo handed a note to a teller demanding money, police said. After getting the cash, the robber fled on foot south on Chambers Road.

Investigators describe the suspect as a white man, in his early 30s, about 6-feet tall and 170-pounds. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a dark hoodie, jeans, and a dark gray stocking hat.

Investigators believe he was wearing a wig under the hat. He carried a black briefcase, bag or satchel during the robbery.
