A man was cited Thursday for multiple wildlife violations for allegedly hunting a deer at a Colorado Springs car dealership.

Dremiel Byers, 39, was charged Thursday by the Colorado Division of Wildlife with several hunting and wildlife violations, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department crime blotter.

Police were called at 6:52 p.m. on a report of a man with a bow stalking a deer at a Lexus car dealership, 604 Auto Heights, police said.

When officers arrived they found Byers, and a buck, which had already been hit by an arrow.

Police called DOW to assist in the poaching case.
