This weekend, Denver is saying goodbye to the moisture and the cool temperatures. With mostly sunshine, a low chance of rain and progressively warmer highs, it will feel like summertime.

The National Weather Service is forecasting that Saturday highs be in the mid 90s and Sunday temperatures reach mid to upper 90s.

Previous records for this weekend are above 100 degrees, and although it will be warm, the temperatures aren’t expected to make history.

This weekend also won’t have the hottest day of the year, although neither day is missing the mark by much. The hottest day of the year so far was on July 7 when temperatures briefly hit 100 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
