Naked man arrested after allegedly taking off pants at Colorado Springs police station

A naked man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly taking his pants off at a downtown Colorado Springs police headquarters.

The Colorado Springs police said the man walked into the lobby of the Police Operations Center, located at 705 S. Nevada Ave., around 8 p.m. and then took his pants off and exposed himself, according to a post on the department’s blotter.

Officers were dispatched, but the man left before they got there.

Police said the man, identified as 38-year-old Keith Gardner, was later found running naked in the 800 block of South Nevada Avenue.

Gardner was arrested and booked for indecent exposure at the El Paso Criminal Justice Center, police said.
