The iconic Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park has been temporarily closed because of snow drifts that accumulated overnight Monday, park officials said.
The closure happened Tuesday at Many Parks Curve and the Colorado River Trailhead. The park said about two- to three-foot drifts socked in the roadway.
The road is unlikely to reopen Tuesday, park officials said.
