A mobile home in Golden was destroyed overnight in a fire.
The Golden Fire Department sent firefighters to the Golden Terrace Mobile Home Park, 375 C St., around 12:30 a.m. When they got there, the home was “completely engulfed in flames.”
Crews were unable to get inside the home, so they fought the blaze from the exterior and worked to protect neighboring homes.
Firefighters said a limited number of fire hydratns in the area forced them to use water from their trucks to douse the fire.
At this time, investigators don’t know if anyone was inside the mobile home.
Investigation into the cause and a search for possible victims is ongoing.
The home next door to the fire sustained some heat damage.
