Peyton Manning retired after 18 NFL seasons, two Super Bowl titles, five MVP awards and dozens of other NFL marks. Although his rank among the league’s greatest quarterbacks in history may be debated, his list of accolades and records support the argument for him being No. 1. Here are just some of those records:

400-Yard Games in a Season

Peyton Manning, in 2013, and Dan Marino, in 1984, are the only quarterbacks with four 400-yard passing games in one season. Four quarterbacks have three: Eli Manning in 2011, Philip Rivers in 2013, Tony Romo in 2012 and Marino in 1986. Twenty seven players had two 400-yard games in one season.
