Thanksgiving will be cold and snowy in northeastern Colorado, including Denver.

The high temperature Thursday should be about 20 degrees and the city has an 80 percent chance for precipitation, according to the National Weather Service. One to 2 inches of snow is expected Thursday.

Thanksgiving night in Denver will be frigid; the overnight low will be about 10 degrees, dropping to minus-1 degree with the wind chill, the weather service said. Up to 3 inches of additional snow is expected overnight in the city. Precipitation sticks in the Denver forecast until Friday morning, with a 40 percent chance of snow, mainly before noon.
