Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford (8) warms up before an NFL football game against the Chicago Bears, Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, in Chicago.

Sam Bradford is expected to sign with the Arizona Cardinals, a person close to the situation said, as the leaguewide juggling of free agent quarterbacks continues.

The Cardinals’ pending contract with Bradford is for one year and $20 million, with an option for a second season at another $20 million.

Bradford leaves the Minnesota Vikings to become the potential starter in Arizona. The Cardinals are replacing the retired Carson Palmer. Bradford suffered through another injury-plagued season in 2017 and was supplanted as the Vikings’ starter by Case Keenum.

The quarterback moves continue. Keenum has lined up a deal with the Denver Broncos. Kirk Cousins is arranging a visit to Minnesota and, if all goes as planned, is expected to a sign a guaranteed contract with the Vikings. Drew Brees agreed to re-sign with the New Orleans Saints.

That leaves the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets still looking. The Jets seem focused on Teddy Bridgewater and Josh McCown. Former Cincinnati Bengals backup AJ McCarron remains available for the Bills.
