Temperatures in the Denver metro area will climb back into the 70s and 80s this week under mostly sunny skies.

The high on Monday is expected to reach 75 degrees, according to the forecast by the National Weather Service in Boulder.

The low Monday night will be around 47 degrees.

Tuesday is expected to be the warmest day of the week, with a high of about 82 degrees, according to the NWS.

The high will be around 80 degrees both on Wednesday and Thursday. Winds will gust up to 17 mph on Wednesday.

On Friday and the weekend the high temperatures will be in the upper 78. There is a slight chance for rain and thunderstorms between Friday and Sunday, according to the NWS.
