Travelers passing through Denver International Airport have a new (temporary) spot to grab a beer before or after their flight. For its third year in a row, the “Beer Flights” beer garden returns.

As part of Denver’s upcoming Great American Beer Festival and Oktoberfest, the annual beer garden showcases 10 Colorado breweries for travelers to sip and sample.

A $10 ticket gets you into this mini-GABF with 10, 2-ounce samples of beer from breweries including Avery Brewing Company, Ska Brewing Company and Telluride Brewing Company. As a bonus, each ticket purchased includes a souvenir tasting glass and an entry to win two round-trip tickets on United Airlines.

“‘Beer Flights’ allows us to showcase Colorado’s outstanding microbrew industry but also recognizes our close friendship with our sister airport in Munich, the home of Oktoberfest,” said airport CEO Kim Day in a press release. “We invite beer lovers — whether travelers or neighbors — to stop by our outdoor plaza and sample some of the best beer available this side of Bavaria.”

The “Beer Flights” beer garden is located before security on level 5 between the Jeppesen Terminal and Westin Denver International Airport. Beer Flights is open from daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sept. 30 to Oct. 10.
