Surveillance photos of a man who robbed a Jefferson County bank were released Thursday by investigators.

At about 12:15 p.m. Thursday the Key Bank at 7323 W. Chatfield Ave. was robbed by a man who passed a note, saying he was armed, to a teller, according to the sheriff’s office.

The robber fled on foot with cash. No weapon was seen during the robbery.

He is described as a balding white man, in his mid-20s, about 5-foot-6 and 180 pounds with a “couple of days” growth of facial hair. The robber was wearing dark sunglasses, a red shirt and jeans during the robbery.
