A man found suffering of a gunshot wound in Aurora’s Morris Heights neighborhood Sunday afternoon has died and police said detectives seek clues.

Aurora police responding to a report of a gun assault around 3:36 p.m. found the man at 3190 Uvalda St., according to a police statement issued Sunday night.

Authorities did not identify the man, who was carried to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

“All involved parties are accounted for,” the police statement said, “and there is no risk to the community.”
