A public vigil will be held Saturday in Parker for a mother and her two sons, whose bodies were found inside a minivan parked in a Lone Tree parking lot.

The vigil for Jennifer Marie Laber, 38, Ethan, 5, and Adam, 3, will be held at 2 p.m. at O’Brien Park, 10795 Victorian Drive, according to a family statement.

Family members, as well as a religious leader, will be among those to address the gathering.

The bodies were found Wednesday morning, a day after Jennifer Laber was last seen with the two children.

Police said they are not pursuing anyone in connection with the deaths.

All three died of gunshot wounds — each was shot one time.

Jennifer Laber legally purchased a Glock 9mm handgun at a local store just hours before going to school, along with Adam, to pick up Ethan an hour prior to his kindergarten dismissal.
