This year, the holidays look different for many of us. Large holiday parties are replaced by intimate family gatherings at home. During this time of change and social distancing, the strength of our communities has never been more important. LIV Sotheby’s International Realty (LIV SIR) is dedicated to supporting local Colorado communities every year, and this year is no different.

This year, the firm made sizeable donations to local food bank members of the Feeding America network, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization. Feeding America is engrained in all communities where LIV SIR operates and features a network of food banks including Food Bank of the Rockies, Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado, and Community Food Share.

“This year, especially with the pandemic, families are struggling with basic needs, including food security. At LIV, we care deeply about our state and all the wonderful communities that make up this great place we live. We are honored to be in a position to be able to support by donating to this 40-year-old organization with deep roots in each area that we have office locations,” adds Scott Webber, chief executive officer and employing broker of LIV Sotheby’s International Realty.

LIV SIR has been and continues to be a proud supporter of Food Bank of the Rockies. In addition to the support shown by the various LIV SIR offices throughout the Denver Metro area, the firm’s resort office locations participated in charitable giving to local organizations in the communities that they represent.

In Telluride, the LIV SIR team was honored to support the community with further donations to location organizations Telluride Regional Medical Center and Angel Baskets.

The Summit County and Winter Park offices were proud to donate to The Summit Foundation and the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center, led by Aaron Shriner, vice president and managing broker of LIV SIR’s Summit County and Winter Park offices. Further into the mountains, the Vail Valley offices supported the Western Slope Food Bank and The Vail Valley Foundation, led by Dan Fitchett Jr., vice president and managing broker of LIV SIR’s Vail Valley offices.

The Crested Butte office of LIV SIR was pleased to present wrapped holiday gifts, such as toys, clothing, and gift cards, to 10 families in need within the Crested Butte and Gunnison communities by making donations to local organizations including Union Congregational Church, Oh-Be-Joyful Church, Lighthouse Pregnancy Center and Project Hope.

While LIV SIR brokers have always been a resource for real estate insight and commitment to the community in which they live and work, the firm remains unwavering in its commitment to supporting the community and neighbors in need, especially during this unprecedented time.
