Park & Co. 439 E. 17th Ave., 720-328-6732, parkandcodenver.com. Open 4 p.m.-close, seven days.

The look: A stylish reinvention of the space formerly occupied by Bump & Grind, sparely decorated with wide-open windows onto 17th Avenue. A few televisions, a spacious patio, and a foosball table.

On the menu: Burgers. Four specialty burgers (you’ll recognize these from Park’s older sibling, Park Burger on South Pearl Street) with things like fried eggs and green chiles and corned beef. A few sandwiches, like a straightforward croque monsieur (French for “ham and cheese melt”), and a few salads, including a brawny Asian Chicken Salad. Also, bar snacks like fried hominy, a crispy-chewy-spicy take on Corn Nuts, and homemade potato chips with a blue cheese sauce. Guilty pleasures all. Look toward the bottom of the menu for the hidden treasure: the chivito sandwich, essentially steak and eggs between bread with pickled slaw. Requisite signature cocktail menu, plus beer and wine.

The vibe: Though brand new, this place feels full of regulars already, with barflies staking their claims early in the evening.

When to visit: Come on a warm night for a pleasant patio supper. Here’s hoping the place will open for lunch soon.
