Two people, a pedestrian and a cyclist, were killed in separate traffic incidents last weekend, the Denver Office of Medical Examiners said Friday.
Sunday just after 9 p.m., Daniel Peterson, 31, was riding a bicycle at Speer Boulevard and Lincoln Street in Denver when he was struck by a car, which fled.
Police have not released information about the case.
On Friday, Carlos Sanchez, 49, died at 9:19 p.m. at Denver Health Medical Center, after he was truck by a vehicle at 52nd Avenue and Federal Boulevard, the coroner’s office said.
The coroner’s office said Sanchez died of blunt-force injuries and called the death an accident
