As Election Day kicks off, Republicans continue to lead in Colorado in early voting.
About 2 million of Colorado’s 2.7 million active voters have cast their ballots by mail or in person at an early-voting location, according to the latest figures from the secretary of state.
The party breakdown of those who have already voted is: Republicans, 719,597; Democrats, 677,473; and unaffiliated voters, 588,430.
Polls close at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
