Lucky are the Longmonters who live near Your Butcher, Frank. This full service butcher (and grocer, and sandwich maker, and all-around problem-solver) is among the Front Range’s friendliest purveyors — staffers are helpful, knowledgeable and skilled. Well stocked with standards like steak and chicken, plus harder-to-find items like sweetbreads, tripe and tongue.

Not sure what cut you need? Speak up; these guys have suggestions. And cooking tips, too.

A sandwich counter sees brisk business at lunch hour, and it’s no secret why: Big fat deli sandwiches on fresh bread. (Ask for the ham loaf sandwich for a nostalgic treat.)

Call ahead for big orders like standing rib roasts or specialty meats, or swing by on the way home from work for steaks and sausages. Plenty of parking.
