The Colorado Community College System says that it will offer credit to displaced ITT Tech students who are trying to complete degrees.

Several of the public community colleges plan open houses beginning Sept. 17 to 21 to answer questions from students left behind after the for-profit ITT Tech abruptly shut down Tuesday.

CCCS president Nancy McCallin said the school system can “offer credit for prior learning, degree and certificate completion,” she said in a statement. Attendees can also have their coursework at ITT Tech assessed for credit. More details are at go.cccs.edu.

Schools include Arapahoe Community College, Community College of Aurora, Community College of Denver, Front Range Community College, Red Rocks Community College, and Colorado Community Colleges Online.
