Police have identified Thomas Busch, 37, as the man who allegedly led police on a slow-speed tractor chase in downtown Denver on Friday night.

Busch was arrested and is being detained and investigated for theft of a motor vehicle with a possibility of additional charges, said Tyrone Campbell, a Denver Police Department spokesman.

During the chase, a police vehicle rammed into the tractor and police removed the driver from the tractor. They used a Taser and dogs to subdue the tractor’s driver.

One police officer was injured during the incident after being struck by the tractor and another officer was injured while attempting to arrest the tractor’s driver. Both officers have been treated and released from the hospital. No bystanders sustained injuries during the chase.

Multiple vehicles were struck and several buildings were also damaged during the chase.
